Erika Siegfried is a Creative Marketing and Public Relations Consultant living in the Greater Philadelphia area. With strong writing skills and a background in communications, Erika meticulously conveys client trends to visual artists, commercial photographers and brands to assist in targeting their work to their preferred client bases.
On a daily basis, Erika provides reference & inspirational materials for clients and designers to create marketing collateral, then strategizes and executes marketing campaigns. This includes creating and managing budgets & timelines to ensure approved creative concepts are captured within clients’ scope of work.
She prides herself on being a dedicated, responsible, resourceful and innovative professional who strives to facilitate an atmosphere of mutual respect and partnership. She describes herself as an exceptional communicator with a caring and diplomatic manner who has a flare for classic style and elegant design.
Erika’s presented at various photo conferences with PhaseOne and ASMP explaining how photographers can develop brand recognition and ultimately expand their client network. She’s been involved with the ASMP Philadelphia chapter participating in portfolio reviews for the last several years, and has been a guest lecturer for Drexel University’s Commercial Shoot Production capstone. She’s also the featured industry expert in “Brand Camp” of Pro Photographer Magazine’s August 2016 issue.
Prior to opening her own consultancy firm, Erika was the long-term Creative Services Lead and Senior Marketing Consultant at Wonderful Machine, a production company in suburban Philadelphia. Responsibilities there included driving sales for creative consulting services and managing the photo editing, marketing and graphic design departments.
Before jumping on the production side of the camera, Erika was a live on-air anchor and reporter in Central Pennsylvania. Additionally, she was a founding member of MyNEWPhilly.com, a Philadelphia digital and social media startup where she hosted content focused on philanthropy, fashion, and social events in the city.
Erika started her career in journalism at West Virginia University, hosting the schoolwide news segments as an undergraduate until graduating in 2012.
Erika is an Active Member for the Junior League of Philadelphia, sitting on the Focus Fundraising Committee. In her free time she enjoys cooking, exercising with her King Charles bestie, Casey, interior design, being a newlywed and smelling the roses.
